J and I have been away in New Zealand for the last two and a half weeks. We had a wonderful time relaxing with family, celebrating a wedding, and visiting a beautiful country, and I even managed to pick up a few ideas for food blog posts along the way. One thing I did not do much of, however, was write blog posts (this was the only one I wrote). After travelling for over thirty hours (read: watching seven and a half movies, eating lots of airline food – some of which was pretty good - and getting only a few hours sleep), we arrived home, tired but happy, yesterday afternoon. With apologies for my lack of posting and a promise to do some recipe posts soon (though probably not in the next couple of days), here is a handful of photos of the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand, where we spent last weekend. Thank you to my husband’s family for a wonderful couple of weeks!
Beautiful photos. Looks like you had an amazing time. Am looking forward to your future recipe posts. X
ReplyDeleteThank you! We did have an amazing time. Just trying to decide which recipe to try first...
ReplyDeleteThese photos are gorgeous! New Zealand is high on my list of places to visit, though unfortunately it will have to wait until we save up quite a bit more money! We recently took a trip to Spain and the Balearic Islands, and that was amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you Katie! New Zealand is a great place, so I hope you manage to get there some day. Spain and the Balearic Islands sounds good - I've not been to the Western end of the Mediterranean but would like to at some point...
